MedHelps is intended for planned medical follow-up and monitoring. It is not an emergency service or a channel for messages requiring an immediate response.
When urgent care is needed
For increasing shortness of breath, swallowing difficulty, inability to hold the head up, severe generalised weakness, loss of consciousness or another dangerous condition, seek urgent local care rather than wait for a MedHelps response.
Clinical decisions
Automated scores and charts organise data but do not replace clinical judgment. Diagnosis and medication initiation, withdrawal or dose changes are clinician decisions based on the full situation.
Response time
A message does not guarantee a response within a specific time unless an applicable plan or agreement expressly provides otherwise.
